We offer a boutique training program where riders and horses receive individualized attention to enhance development focusing on jumpers, equitation, eventing, and dressage. We also believe that owners should have a direct hand in the care, training, and maintenance of their horses. At Schwarzer Sporthorses, we seek to provide guidance through horse care and ownership, while valuing your input and insights. Believing that knowledge is power, students are encourage to be very hands-on in the horse care process.
Developing riders who are also well-rounded in horsemanship is one of our top priorities. Cross-training is incredibly important for developing well-rounded athletes and horses and we encourage students to explore multiple disciplines.
Service List Available Upon Request
For those interested in showing but not quite ready to commit to ownership, we try to provide flexible lease terms to dedicated riders. Please contact us for more details on these options.
While we no longer provide once-a-week lesson options, we can recommend several programs in the area to serve your needs. We are currently working with Victoria Dye Equestrian at Westwind Community Barn for lessons.
Work Exchange Program:
This program is available for students who lease or own a horse in the barn. Students can assist in barn chores in exchange for credit towards lessons. In order to be eligible, students must show commitment to the program, a good attitude, as well as maintain good grades in school. This is an excellent opportunity for students to earn additional lessons.
